I was born and raised in Orange County, California, and am primarily of African American and Korean descent. Fun little fact: I learned Korean before English!
I received my undergraduate degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Southern California (USC). A few years later, I experienced a sort of “quarter life crisis” and shifted from plans of being an Entertainment Lawyer, to chasing my dreams in culinary. I attended the world renowned Culinary Institute of America (CIA) at Greystone, in Napa Valley. During my short time in Napa, I had the opportunity to work with, and for, notable chefs, farmers and sommeliers.
Prior to graduating CIA, I landed the coveted Culinary Production Internship with the Food Network in New York City. Once my internship ended, I decided to further my education and earned a certification in Plant Based Nutrition from the Dr. T. Colin Campbell program at Cornell University. Due to my skill set and eye for detail, brands began reaching out to me for collaborations on both a personal and professional level. I now am based in Los Angeles, and travel frequently to New York City, where I continue to work as a freelance Food Stylist, as well as a Food and Lifestyle Influencer.
I have worked BTS on multiple seasons of Beat Bobby Flay and Worst Cooks, as well as some upcoming shows on HBO Max and OWN Network.
